Close to home, on purpose
Lynne lives and works in Melbourne's east. Keeping the catchment tight is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.
Short travel means sessions start on time, a cancelled session can often be moved rather than lost, and more of a plan goes on support instead of on driving.
The suburbs we cover
Ringwood North, Ringwood, Croydon, Mitcham, Vermont and Heathmont, and the streets in between.
If you are a little outside that and the fit is right, it is still worth asking. Lynne is happy to travel a bit further when it makes sense for the child.
Knowing the area helps
Community access works better when the person taking your child already knows which park is quiet on a Saturday, which library runs a session, and where parking is not a fight.
That local knowledge is small, and it is the difference between an outing that works and one that unravels.
Growing carefully
Pathways to Horizons is a one-person business today and takes on children at a pace it can genuinely serve. As the team grows, the area will grow with it.
Until then, families get the founder rather than whoever was available.
